another night on earth has been on my daily checklist of blogs for a good while now, and chris never fails to dig up great tunes new and old, hosts ridiculously cool mixes and occasional interviews with interesting folks. and now he's even hosted a tune i made! so big thanks to anoe. click and partake of his bounty. you won't regret it.
the tune in question is an edit of an excerpt from the horse, the man and his son by nigerian chief commander ebenezer obey. i dug a hole out of the middle of one of the sides and looped and toyed with it. it was fun to make and, i think, fun to hear! and by the way, i found the track on yet another wonderful blog, awesome tapes from africa, which also deserves and rewards regular visits.
in that same spirit, here's a second edit i made from tracks taken from awesome tapes from africa.
